How long does it take to replace the outer tierods?
I asked the question early about fixing the tierods right away, and I got an a couple of answers thanks dodge man. Maybe you or some else could let me know on this ? .
It depends. I've done it in unde a half hour. On the other hand, I've seen other so-called mechanics take four times that long to figure out how to get the old ones off. So I guessI'd answer that it depends on the mechanical experience of the person doing the job.
I hate sounding like a smart$#&, but when I done mechanic work (13 years), my livlihood depended on how fast I could change part with a quality performance. However, others who have never been in the mechanical field think they are supposed to do it just as quick. Sorry, that takes experience. BTW. Young up and comers don't understand these days that experience comes from getting dirty. You can't learn it all in a classroom.
