Do i have too much tire damage after hitting the curbe? today while turning right I think i hit the curb and this is a picture of the rim and tire http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e187/hyeedo/100_1487.jpg there is a bit less damage on the opposite end of the rim. Do i need a new tire please dont say i do the tires are contiprocontact on a passat cc 2009 it seems as though only that outer edge was torn. no noise no vibration it seemed to go straight when i let go of the wheel uhhhh My only concern is i dont want to have to pay for a new tire because the back is brand new and the fronts are worn =( I don't care about cosmetic damage I just want it to drive normal. you said it best by torn, i didnt even look, and hope you dont need a new rim.aluminum cracks when beaten back into position, suffers from working hardness something fierce
